Libertarian Presidential Candidate Jo Jorgensen Polling on Average at 2.2% Nationally

With less than a month until the 2020 Presidential election the third parties are fading into the political chaos that is Trump and Biden. With Biden opening up his wide lead over Trump Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen is now only averaging 2.2% in the national polls. This one percent below the 3.2% that Gary Johnson carried in the 2016 Presidential Election.

While Jo Jorgensen brings the message of Liberty the national media attention has been focused on Biden vs. Trump as the campaign has heated up and the President was diagnosed with COVID-19.

It would appear that voters this year are not focused on the ideas of the candidate but rather the persons. So many are voting this year to vote against Trump which is lending so much support to Joe Biden. Unfortunately for third parties this means they are being cast aside and ignored for the value they bring to the election.

Jo Jorgensen is a great candidate but does not have the name recognition like Johnson did for the party in 2016. This has allowed the national media to focus on the horse race between Biden and Trump instead of giving Libertarians a platform to showcase their ideology.
